The Social Business Trust has made an investment of £700,000 in the Inspiring Futures Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that provides personalised careers advice, motivating young people to explore their plans for future education and employment. As a social enterprise, the Foundation generates its income from services delivered to schools, both in the UK and internationally.

Moneyline is a high-street service offering affordable loans, money advice, bank accounts and linked savings accounts. In July, SBT agreed to invest £100,000 in cash in Moneyline, as well as professional; support worth up to £350,000. Following a successful project on Moneyline’s IT system by a team from SBT partner Credit Suisse, it was recently decided to speed up further investment. Moneyline will receive up to £200,000 to complete the development of its technology.
