Latest News and blogs Social Business Trust named in NatWest SE100 Index Social Business Trust is delighted to be named in the Natwest SE100 Index 2020. The list is compiled by Pioneers Post, a leading social enterprise publication, in partnership with NatWest Social & Community Capital. Applicants to the NatWest SE100 completed an in-depth survey, exploring the overall business performance, encompassing everything from turnover, growth, profit and how they manage their impact. After a rigorous process, the top 100 has been announced. ‘We are delighted to be named in the Natwest SE100. In these tough times, we’ve been focusing our efforts on supporting our social enterprises so this comes at exactly the right time. It’s given a real boost to us all. The resilience shown by the sector during COVID-19 has been astonishing, particularly those working on the frontline. Coming out of the crisis will need even more energy, fortitude and imagination. Pioneers Post reported that before the COVID-19 crisis, some of the social enterprises had grown at an impressive rate of 355% over the past year. Applications showed impact has become even more of a priority for new and mature social enterprises, with an average impact score across the 100 of 8.2 out of 12 – up from 7.5 last year.
